Class Evaluation 

1. What I liked best about this class was that I got to meat more new people and the way how we watch interesting videos that help us 
2. I don't like the way we have time outs I feel like I'm back in elementary aren't we in high school
3. I don't really have any recommendation because your the teacher and you make the rules and lesson plans I don't want to interfere with your lesson plan and ruined your plans.
4. A highlight for this class was the free time you should take in mind more time in this department 
5. I don't really think so because I would forget my goals journal when we first introduced it to the class I could've done better a pushed my self to

“You will go far with CTR”

MR. Haymore

What this means is that if you follow the rules and guide yourself through the righteous path you will go far and succeed in life. Mr. Haymore has taught us that choosing the right will lead us through a mountain of success because you listen to the people that want you to do good in life rather than the people who want you to do bad. Mr. Haymore taught us the true beauty of being a good person and that is choosing the right, being able to say no to something that is bad rather than doing it out of intimidation. He also taught us that choosing the wrong in life by doing drugs and not going to school will get us no-where and will most likely land us in trouble or jail. The beauty of finding who you are a human being is always staying positive and having the best character you can possibly give, because no matter how stressed you are in life you must always remember to stay positive. Succeeding in life may bring you tough obstacles in life but if you stay on the path of the CTR people you will get far enough to accomplish all the goals you have set. like what Ezra Taft Benson once said, “You can't do wrong and feel right. It's impossible.” he is correct because if you are a CTW person and do all these bad things, you won't ever feel good because you wouldn't have accomplished anything, you wouldn't have set goals for you to succeed so therefore you wouldn't feel right doing all the wrongs you have.

Character

This quote says you are a good person then you contribute to the world begin peaceful. People can learn from you being a CTR person and to act like one themselves. Then more and more people will start to learn about becoming a ctr student. Being a respectful person shows what type of good character and not have a disrespectful one and be a bad influence to others. Living in a peaceful nation means being able to live in harmony with others and learn the ways of how people's characters can influence each other. A person that I know is a beautiful person is my mom because she has a good heart and a good soul she cares a lot about others and most important her children. My mom is a hardworking person who brings harmony to my home with her bubbliness and always on the positive side attitude. She might not order the nation but she does order my home and she is a strong woman who works independently at home and at work. She brings peace to mine and my sister's troubles and always finds a way to make us feel at home.

Zika Baby born in New Jersey

1.WEDNESDAY, June 1, 2016 A woman from Honduras who apparently became infected with the Zika virus in her home country gave birth Tuesday in a New Jersey hospital to a baby girl with the birth defect characteristic of the disease.

2.This is the second known case of a baby born with Zika-related birth defects in the United States. The first baby was born in Hawaii.

Doctors first examined the mother when she came to the medical center Friday. Ultrasound screening revealed the baby had "significant microcephaly," he said. Babies with microcephaly have small brains and heads.

3.the 31-year-old mother knew she was infected with the virus before coming  to visit relatives in New Jersey. Scans performed late last week showed the girl was underweight for her gestational age. So doctors delivered the baby through a C-section. On Monday, U.N. health officials recommended that women planning to become pregnant should wait at least eight weeks before trying to conceive if they or their partner live in -or are returning from- areas where the Zika virus infections are occurring. The vast majority of Zika infections have occurred in Latin America, with Brazil the hot zone with an estimated 5,000 cases of microcephaly, there have been  no reports on the Zika-induced microcephaly contracting in the U.S. But it Zika infections are sure to come up in Gulf Coast states like Florida, Louisiana, and Texas since it is mosquitos season. Mosquito bites remain the most common source of infection of the Zika virus.

                                                                     

What is Memorial day ?      

A holiday that honors men and women who died while serving over the U.S military, usually known as Decoration Day, originated in the years following the civil war and became an official federal holiday in 1971.

What is the purpose of Memorial Day?

Honor the men and women that died serving our country in the U.S military.

When is it?

On May 5, 1868, General John A. Logan, leader of an organization for Northern Civil War veterans, called for a nationwide day of remembrance later that month. “The 30th of May, 1868, is designated for the purpose of strewing with flowers, or otherwise decorating the graves of comrades who died in defense of their country during the late rebellion, and whose bodies now lie in almost every city, village and hamlet churchyard in the land,” he proclaimed. The date of Decoration Day, as he called it, was chosen because it wasn’t the anniversary of any particular battle.

What are a few ways to show honor and respect on memorial day?

Cities and towns across the United States host Memorial Day parades each year, often incorporating military personnel and members of veterans’ organizations. Some of the largest parades take place in Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. Americans also observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries and memorials. On a less somber note, many people throw parties and barbecues on the holiday, perhaps because it unofficially marks the beginning of summer.

What are a few things you will do on memorial day to show your honor and respect?

I will be going camping during memorial day weekend and spend it with my friends. I’m going to watch movies and barbeque in the cold mountains.

Dan Dierdorf

Dan believes that is he does the right thing as hard as he can and tries his best no matter what he will overcome and succeed. He also says that if you choose the wrong and not try at anything will become disappointed with the results and not succeed in life. If you choose the right you will succeed and go into the right place/path. If you choose the wrong and go into the wrong pathway/place you will not become successful and will choose the wrong all your life. If you set up goals that are correct you are most likely to succeed ten if you set up goals that are incorrect in life. You always have to choose the right no matter what because choosing the right will lead you to success. His correct goals will lead him into the correct path and only good things will happen to him. He teaches us to put all our efforts into our goals because if you do you will end up reaching for them. If you believe in yourself you will bring success into you your life. So, don’t choose the wrong, always choose the right for a successful life and pathway.

Wellness Specialists

Duties and Responsibilities: Wellness specialists work for schools, local governments, companies or other organizations to suggest, support and train people on their health and fitness goals. A specialists consults with people directly on lifestyle, eating and exercising habits and may direct an individual to a doctor for any serious health concerns.

Salary: Median Salary: $41,053 usually the salary for a Wellness Specialists is between $29,202 - $70,287 not including bonuses over the years. Bonuses range from $0 - $4,000

Education: A wellness specialists often has a degree in a related discipline such as nursing, fitness or sports medicine. There are no specific requirements, but many positions require on-the-job training in addition to certification from accredited wellness organizations such as the international Association of Wellness Professionals. They must be able to communicate well and have a personality that can motivate people into making the change in their lifestyles.
