Mental Health Counselor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with individuals, groups, and communities to improve with mental health

Encourage clients to discuss emotions and experiences

Examine issues including substances abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self-image, stress and suicide

Work with families

Develop therapeutic processes .

Salary:

Median pay (annual): 41,500 USD (2012)
